August 2008 Austin Texas - O'Donnell Family

Jen, Nolan, and Kara visited orthodontic classmates Scot and Barb in Austin, TX. We enjoyed their beautiful family, home and water toys!

August 2008 BYU Education Week

For the second year, we met up with the Julians, Nolan's parents, and the Schades at Education week. In addition to attending some great classes, we ate too much, went kayaking down the Provo river, went to a normally confusing play (thank goodness for Stacy Julian!), and had a great time.

July 2008 Dana Point Harbor

One of our favorite places in Southern California is Dana Point Harbor. In the past Tyler and Kara have attended Ocean Institute, sailing, and beach camps. In these pictures Renee joined our family for an afternoon of jet skiing.

July 2008 Sea World

Also on our trip to California over the 4th of July, we visited Sea World for a few days. Kara especially liked the Beluga whales, Tyler liked the rides that got his dad wet, and Trevor liked touching the dolphins.

July 2008 Wild Animal Park/ San Diego Zoo

During the week of July 4th we visited the Jays and spent a couple of days at the Wild Animal Park (it was over 100 degrees!) and the San Diego Zoo. Tyler, Kara and Trevor seemed to fit right in with the animals.

Park City June 2008

Welcome to the Cordon Family Blog. We wanted to add some older postings to include past vacations, etc. During the first 2 1/2 weeks of June we stayed in Park City with Nolan's parents, Renee & Pam (with families) and the Schades (with family).

While in Park City it snowed, we went fishing (Jennifer was the only one who wanted to touch the fish!), went 'white water" rafting (not many rapids on the provo river, but it was still fun) visited Snowbowl (zip line, rock climbing, took the gondola to the top), did the Alpine slide, and Jennifer, Tyler, Ryland, Sabrin, Kara learned to ski jump into pools at the Olympic village.
